Collaborates with faculty members to determine instructional strategies, materials and assessment strategies appropriate for technology-based courses offered through Continuing and Distance Education; collaborates with ITS Educational Technology Services and other support units to elevate the quality of support and instruction; conducts course reviews of online courses with instructors to ensure that course designs align with the Quality Matters Rubric standards; and identifies gaps and needs between current hardware and software capabilities and support growth in technology-based courses.

Bachelor's degree in education, English, technical writing or related field; at least one year of instructional development experience in the field of distance education or online teaching with proficiency with web applications including HTML editing with Dreamweaver, and course management systems; excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills; strong attention to accuracy and detail; ability to work well with others in a team setting; and ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced work environment required. Master’s degree and experience in data analysis and reporting preferred.
