Impact & Responsibilities: Engages in personalized, timely follow up with each prospective student who expresses interest in a graduate program at UNI; provides prospective students with graduate program information, admission requirements, and application deadlines; develops innovative and strategic recruitment plans for both online and residential graduate programs; coordinates and leads outreach events for the College of Graduate, Research, and Online Education; establishes and implements tracking systems to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and analyzes prospect and admissions data to further inform the process; serves as the graduate program coordinator for a discretionary number of graduate programs; monitors applications and enrollments, and ensures consistent communication with students. Occasional work performed outside of normal work hours and travel within Iowa and neighboring states for recruitment events will be necessary.
 
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Student Affairs, Business, or related field; at least one year of higher education, customer service, relationship management, or program/initiative support experience; exceptional oral and written communication skills; proven ability to use independent judgment; strong attention to detail; experience planning, organizing, and facilitating recruitment or other events; and knowledge of social media and/or digital marketing required.
Student experience will be considered.
 
Preferred: Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Student Affairs, or related field; and experience with recruitment and management of prospective graduate student inquiries.
