Impact & Responsibilities: Serves as a primary academic advisor to an assigned caseload of undergraduate students, guiding students through academic plan development intended to meet academic program, career, or personal goals; provides academic advising to new undergraduates at new student orientation; supports institutional recruitment efforts at on-campus and off-campus events; designs and implements individual outreach and programming to support transition to college and facilitates academic advising, student success, persistence, and retention efforts for targeted groups of undergraduate students; and supports new and ongoing institutional retention, student success, and enrollment management initiatives.
Requirements: Master's degree; at least two years of advising or related experience in higher education; excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
Graduate student experience will be considered. Occasional evening and weekend work will be necessary.
Preferred: Master's degree in college student personnel or related field.
