Assistant Technical Director Audio/Video Engineer
Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center
 
Impact & Responsibilities: Assists in the supervision of stage use, production equipment, and backstage areas of the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC) main hall; responsible for sound design and operational support for the annual theatre department musical; consults with the theatre department on the design, purchase, rental and installation of audio/video systems, and assists as needed in support of video elements of production; serves as the head audio and video engineer and supervisor for the GBPAC main hall; serves as the video operator for all main hall events; and assists in providing support for auxiliary event services outside the production needs.
 
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related field (An associate’s degree in audio and video operation or related field plus at least three years of experience with audio and video operation and recording can be substituted). Student experience will be considered.
 
Preferred: Experience in system design, sound and video editing.
