SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
SHIFT: First Shift

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Under general supervision, performs secretarial support to the Dean, Associate Dean, faculty and staff in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences (CSBS); assists with evaluating and resolving problems requiring strict confidentiality; responds to requests for information; completes special projects as assigned by the Dean/Associate Dean; coordinates appointment calendar for the Dean and assists with Associate Dean’s calendar; initiates standard forms and documents; supervises student assistants; coordinates assignment of conference and seminar rooms in building; gathers and organize data for faculty promotion and tenure process; works with the Office of Admissions and University Relations regarding CSBS recruitment/communication plan action steps; accesses university enrollment system to answer questions and provide reports; orders food and sends invitations for college activities and/or events; and performs other related duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Any combination of related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to four years of full-time employment and includes the use of word processing.
