Clerk IV Housing & Dining Facilities

Impact & Responsibilities: Under general supervision, manages the work order and preventative maintenance system for the University Housing and Dining Facilities area; coordinates repair work flow; performs administrative duties for the Directors within UHD, Facilities Manager, and Manager of Custodial Services; researches and prepares reports related to utilities, projects, and equipment; completes financial transactions including accounts payable and purchasing for the facilities area; responds to questions regarding housing and dining contracts and bills; provides coverage for the Housing and Dining front desk operations using excellent customer service skills; processes meal plans and changes for students; processes transactions in the StarRez database and prepares reports; assigns, coordinates and reviews the work of students working at the Housing & Dining central office front desk; coordinates with the Housing and Dining central office staff for the use and billing of guest rooms and graduate apartments in dorms; produces University identification cards; maintains the inventory of the office; troubleshoots problems with ID cards in relation to door access issues through higher level access in the Lenel system; and performs other related duties as requested.
 
Requirements: Any combination of progressively responsible related clerical office experience related undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to four years of full-time employment.
