WORKSHOP: Train the Instructor: Delivering Instruction Online

After creating a solid training presentation, now it’s time to deliver the instruction. Gone are the days of just lecture. Learners expect more. This 90-minute webinar will highlight some of the best techniques and methods for making your online training (webinar) engaging and interactive with your learners and still successfully meet the learning objectives set for the training program. By the end of this training workshop you will be able to: • Determine ways to adapt a face-to-face training session to an online training program and still be effective and successful. • Identify key elements to make training more engaging, interactive and meaningful to the audience members. • Discuss “Zoom Fatigue.” Recognize the signs and combat it with simple techniques. • Incorporate active participation in to your training sessions to improve engagement and interaction. • Demonstrate the additional learning that happens when participants are actively learning, therefore increasing retention of learned materials. A requirement of this class is to have a computer with a webcam and audio capabilities.
