This interactive 2-hour Zoom session will demonstrate a variety of techniques that can be used during face-to-face training. When conducting live, in-person training, you want the training to incorporate all the learning styles (e.g. visual, auditory or kinesics learners). In addition, your training should be interactive and engaging so learners are absorbed in the content to highlight key learning points in your training presentation. By the end of this session, you will be able to: • Identify the different ways adults learn and recognize ways to reach those different learning styles in face-to-face training. • Realize the average adult learner attention span and incorporate interactive training methods that improve learner engagement. • Evaluate simple ways to involve participants/audience members in training that keep their attention • Practice traditional ways of classroom/on-site instruction, as well as share newer and more advanced interactive and engaged techniques to make learning fun. A requirement of this course is to have a computer with a webcam and audio capability.
