John Hagen of the Texas Tenors is an Iowa boy at heart. Growing up in Waverly and living and working in Cedar Falls and at UNI. John blends his operatic chops with a Texas twang to compliment the voices of the other tenors creating remarkable performances that range from country to rock opera with a strong spicing of patriotism.
After appearing on the hit TV show “America’s Got Talent” in 2009, The Texas Tenors amassed a worldwide fan base, and in 2019, they earned a spot on Billboard Magazine's #10 Classical Artist in the World.
The tenors blend the voices of John, country singer, JC Fisher, and pop singer, Marcus Collins, to create unique music that has sold out concert halls all over the country.
