My Ascension is a documentary on Emma Benoit, who at the age of 16, attempted suicide. Emma survived and is now an advocate for suicide prevention. This documentary will be shown at Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center with a Q and A following with Emma.
This is will be a FREE event sponsored by the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, the Cedar Valley United Way, Alive and Running Iowa, Black Hawk Grundy Mental Health Center and the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.
