Allen Hospital is the region's most comprehensive heart care team providing more than 50 types of procedures for testing, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. With an enhanced focus on heart disease prevention, we can improve the well-being of our community. Our team performed 227 open heart surgeries last year and is on pace to do 250 this year. Allen Hospital was also recognized in December of 2021 as one of the nation's 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals by Fortune and IBM Watson Health. The study included 951 hospitals with cardiovascular service lines and highlights top-performing facilities based on clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, financial performance and patient experience. The 2nd annual Heart of the Cedar Valley Garden Party will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m. All event proceeds will support our growing cardiovascular service line, specifically replacing cardiac rehab equipment.
