Good Morning Cedar Valley, the quarterly morning networking event for Grow Cedar Valley investors, is on Thursday, September 7 at Northeast Iowa Food Bank (1605 Lafayette Street in Waterloo) from 7:30-9 am! Updates will be given by Cedar Falls Mayor Rob Green, Evansdale Mayor DeAnne Kobliska, Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart, and Waverly Mayor Adam Hoffman along with Cary Darrah, Grow Cedar Valley President/CEO, and a Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors representative.
September is National Hunger Action Month, and the Northeast Iowa Food Bank staff is encouraging attendees to wear orange during this event as it is the national color of hunger. There will also be a donation drive on-site and attendees are encouraged to donate a non-perishable good or personal care item to be distributed to those in need throughout their service community.
