Our virtual March 11 Friday Forum will feature a conversation with two of our local legislators, Representative Timi Brown-Powers and Senator Eric Giddens. Our legislators will give us some insight into what has happened so far in the House and Senate as well as predicting what the endgame for the session will look like.
Rep. Brown-Powers is the Ranking Member of the House Natural Resources Committee and serves on the Appropriations, Human Resources, and Veterans Affairs Committee. Additionally, she is a member of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee.
Senator Giddens serves as the Ranking Member of both the Senate Commerce Committee and the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee. His other committee assignments are Education, State Government, Transportation and the Administration and Regulation Appropriations Subcommittee.
