Cultivating Justice: A Quest Toward Racial Equity.

Cultivating Justice: A Quest Toward Racial Equity.

We are pleased to invite you to register for Cultivating Justice: A Quest Toward Racial Equity.

What is Cultivating Justice: A Quest Toward Racial Equity? Cultivating Justice: A Quest Toward Racial Equity, or the ?Quest,? is a voluntary program that moves people through a collection of projects and resources available at quest.uni.edu. The resources on the website were made by and for people in the Cedar Valley to promote racial justice and activate change in our communities. The Quest?s collection of local materials include essays, videos, performances, artwork, music, podcasts, toolkits, events, and more.

When is the next Quest? The next Quest begins on January 31, 2022.

How long is the Quest? The Quest is six weeks long. Each week, participants on the Quest will receive a newsletter that will guide them as they cultivate habits of consciously and consistently practicing anti-racism. We recommend setting aside at least one hour per week to engage the materials. If participating with a small group, we recommend setting aside an additional hour each week for discussion.

Who can join the Quest? Anyone can participate in the Quest. However, materials and projects are most appropriate for people over the age of 18.

How do I sign up? Register here. Registration ensures that you will receive the weekly newsletter.

Can I do the Quest with others? Yes! Once registered, you will receive an email with a link to join a Quest small group. Find a group that is meeting at a time that is convenient for you. Or, organize your own small group! Student organizations, local businesses, offices, neighborhoods, friend groups, or religious groups may commit to completing the Quest together.

Do I have to join a small group? No. You can do the Quest independently!

How much does it cost? Registration is free.
