A Community Leader Event gives community leaders the opportunity to experience the professionalism and expertise of the 1-133d Infantry Battalion and the Iowa Army National Guard. Individuals that participate in this event will walk away with a clearer understanding of the Iowa Army National Guard, capabilities we have in our state and a general knowledge of the skills learned through military training of our Guard members. We will be showcasing these skills and equipment to all who attend. This event will include the following:
- Remarks from Brigadier General McClintok the Deputy Adjunct General of the Iowa National Guard
- Mission and Vision of the 1-133 Infantry Battalion
- Equipment displays of the skills and occupations within the Battalion
- Facility Tour
- Military Helicopter Flight (weather dependent)
