This reception offers attendees a chance to connect with state legislators representing the Cedar Valley region. During the event, Grow Cedar Valley will present its 2026 Legislative Policy Agenda. Investors are invited to attend and show support for pro-business policies and initiatives that strengthen the Cedar Valley as a place to live and do business.
The event is hosted by Grow Cedar Valley in partnership with Butler County Rural Electric Cooperative, East-Central Rural Electric Cooperative, Grundy County Rural Electric Cooperative, and the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives.
Appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will be available.
Representative Chad Ingels represents House District 68 that includes portions of Black Hawk County along with portions of Buchanan and Fayette Counties. He has been in the House of Representatives since 2021.
Representative Bob Kressig represents House District 75, which includes the northern portions of Cedar Falls. Representative Kressig has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2005.
Representative Timi Brown-Powers Represents House District 61 covering southern Waterloo. She has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2015.
Senator Bill Dotzler represents Senate District 31, covering a majority of Waterloo. He served in the House of Representatives from 1997-2003 and has been a member of the Senate since 2003.
Representative Amos represents District 62 covering northern Waterloo. He has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2023.
Staff and contractors of Grow Cedar Valley often take photographs and shoot video during events. The photos and videos may be used on social media, in brochures, publications, and on our website.
