Downtown District Give Back: Cedar Valley Angels

Cedar Falls Downtown District businesses have big hearts and are partnering with a different non-profit each month to have a give -back event where they will be donating back to a non-profit! This month's non-profit: Cedar Valley Angels! Cedar Valley Angels is a local organization committed to cultivating community and fostering change within the Cedar Valley. We believe foster care is a placement, but it takes a community to raise a child. This giveback would illustrate to our families and youth that local individuals and businesses are standing behind them, while also allowing us to spread awareness of our mission and raise money for our transformational programs. It would also allow more community members to recognize local volunteer opportunities and another community organization for their charitable giving. Volunteering and generosity have been shown to increase the quality of life and social wellbeing for both the volunteers and the people they serve, which is why the relationships our programs cultivate have twofold benefits for the Cedar Valley.
